Gracey’s Goodies

10526 Walnut St, Leo, IN 46765, USA

Meet Grace Geha, owner of Gracey’s Goodies in downtown Leo-Cedarville.  Gracey’s is a bakery that offers a variety of delectable treats including cupcakes, cakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, decorated sugar cookies and wedding cakes.  According to Grace, she enjoys providing products that make people smile.  Whether her baked goods are for weddings, birthday parties, or other events, she enjoys being a part of other’s special day.

Grace started as a budding entrepreneur at a young age.  In her early teens, she began making cookies for friends where she grew up in Toledo, OH.  She moved to Fort Wayne while in high school and attended Bishop Dwenger. While attending the University of Saint Francis, she won a business competition and started her business as a professional baker straight out of college.  She is now in her sixth year of baking.

First starting out, Grace sold to family and friends and then began branching out to others. Grace then began looking for a bricks and mortar location.  After growing up in a small town, she targeted a rural location outside of mainstream Fort Wayne.  When she found her spot in Leo-Cedarville, she received approval to open the location from the Board of Health in March 2020.  She now has five employees.

Sales at Gracey’s Goodies are mostly local, although they do ship cookies throughout the US.  They do not yet have online sales; however, they do have gift certificates.

Grace attributes her success thus far to a lot of hard work as well as support from family, friends, and employees.  According to Grace, “It is one big team effort. As hard as it is, it is also fun and meaningful.  It is worth it.”

On a more personal note, Grace shared that she is of Lebanese descent and enjoys downtime with her three cats and a fish.
